Robert's approach
Robert treats one person at a time, without hurrying. He would rather spend the first appointment properly understanding what has brought you in than move quickly to needles.
His practice is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, but the way he explains it is deliberately plain. You will not be given a lecture in unfamiliar terminology, and you will not be told that everything can be fixed with acupuncture. What you will get is a considered assessment, an individual treatment, and an honest conversation about what to expect.

Seventeen years, four countries
Robert's career has been unusually international, and that is the part of his background that matters most to patients: he has treated a very wide range of people, with a very wide range of concerns and expectations.

At sea
Robert's professional career began aboard cruise ships based out of the United States, treating passengers and crew from all over the world, often with very little shared language and no opportunity to defer a decision.

Spain
He went on to practise in Spain, working with local residents and the international community.

A further period of practice in France added to the range of people and conditions he had worked with.

Bristol, United Kingdom
In Bristol he practised within the British acupuncture setting in which he had originally trained.

Robert then moved to Portugal, where he continues to practise today.
