For organisations

Corporate Acupuncture

Robert can work with organisations that would like to include acupuncture in their employee wellbeing programme.

Who this is for

This service is aimed at employers, HR and people teams, workplace wellbeing leads and business owners who are looking for something more substantial than a one-off perk.

It sits alongside Robert's main practice rather than replacing it. His individual clinical work in Sintra remains the core of TEJO ACUPUNCTURE, and workplace sessions are delivered to the same standard.

  • Employers and business owners
  • HR and people teams
  • Workplace wellbeing and health & safety leads
  • Office managers arranging wellbeing days

What organisations commonly ask about

Employees typically raise the same concerns at work that patients raise in clinic. These are the areas most often discussed when a company gets in touch.

  • Desk-related tension

Neck, shoulder and upper back discomfort associated with long periods at a screen.

  • Stress load

Employees who describe feeling constantly switched on or unable to wind down.

  • Sleep

Poor or broken sleep, particularly in teams working long or irregular hours.

  • Headaches

Recurring tension headaches during demanding periods.

  • Wellbeing days

Acupuncture as one element of a wider wellbeing programme or event.

  • Ongoing provision

A regular presence on site rather than a single visit.

Honest expectations

TEJO ACUPUNCTURE does not promise reductions in absenteeism, increases in productivity, improvements in retention or a financial return on investment. Claims of that kind are made frequently in the workplace wellbeing market and are rarely supported by robust evidence for acupuncture specifically.

What Robert can offer is straightforward: an experienced, university-qualified practitioner providing individual acupuncture treatment to your employees, delivered professionally and discreetly on your premises, with the same care he gives patients in clinic.

Each employee is treated as an individual. Robert does not report clinical information about any employee back to the employer.

Arranging a workplace trial

Organisations can enquire about a corporate acupuncture trial. The structure, scale and commercial terms are agreed privately with each organisation, because requirements differ enormously between a ten-person studio and a several-hundred-person office.

Contact Robert to discuss how a workplace acupuncture trial could work for your organisation. Choose "Corporate Acupuncture" as the reason for your enquiry and he will come back to you directly.

Practical questions

What do you need from us on site?

A private, quiet room that can be closed, with a chair or treatment couch, and somewhere for employees to wait. Robert will confirm the practical requirements when he replies to your enquiry.

Which areas do you cover?

Robert is based in Sintra and works with organisations in Sintra, Lisbon and the surrounding area. If you are further afield, ask and he will tell you honestly whether it is workable.

Is employee information kept confidential?

Yes. What an employee discusses with Robert stays between the employee and Robert. Employers receive only the practical arrangements, never clinical information about individuals.

Can we book a single wellbeing day rather than an ongoing programme?

Yes. Both are possible. Tell Robert what you have in mind in your enquiry and he will discuss what fits.

Discuss workplace acupuncture

Tell Robert about your organisation and what you would like to offer your team. He will reply personally to discuss how a trial could work.

Appointments are arranged directly with Robert. Please make an enquiry to discuss availability.
